Honoring the spirit of creativity, resilience, and familial bonds to redefine the art of tattooing and gallery curation in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.

Just as 'Low Rain' symbolizes both the honoring of family legacy and the promise of brighter days ahead, the collective serves as a sanctuary for expression of our unique stories through art and ink.

LOW RAIN is in honor of my family. Lorraine was my grandmother’s name and is mom’s middle name. It’s a play on the concept of low chance of rain, brighter days ahead, good things are coming, etc. while also connecting back to family, which is my greatest inspiration.

We use tattoos to honor family, friends that feel like family, or moments that commemorate personal wins. It always feels like a bright spot, a moment of LOW RAIN.

LOW RAIN is a tattoo studio meets art collective — think gallery and event and creative space. The art rotates, giving local artists a chance to be seen. Retail, vibes, community.

LOW RAIN is my family's victory story. LOW RAIN leans into the fact that we are who we are because others are who they are/were — we are all connected, both in our struggles and in our victories. We are who we are because of how others loved us.
